A Peek Into My Life this Past Week

This week has been super busy again, but totally worth it!  We are off to Italy and have some exciting updates before we get on the plane.  So here are some updates and what we were up to this past week.

What I am excited about Drew and I have decided to branch out with our YouTube channel.  For those of you who don’t know, we have a YouTube channel that is mostly lifestyle, but we decided since we are traveling so much this year we are going to try to branch out and include videos from our trips and maybe even a few vlogs.  This is a new idea for us, but look for more information on this coming soon and the first video from our Italy trip should be up in a month or so depending on how quick I get used to this type of editing.

Where I am traveling to We leave for New York this Wednesday.  We are driving up from North Carolina so it’s going to be a long road trip, but I am looking forward to it.  This is going to be just Drew and me, no kids this time so it’s a whole nine hours of adult conversation. Then on Thursday we are on the plane to Italy!

What I am happy about I have finally got a schedule down for writing my posts and getting them up!  This is a huge undertaking for me because I am probably one of the biggest procrastinators in the world, and I now finally after four months have a set schedule for writing and publishing my posts.  This is such a relief for while I am traveling.

What I am grateful for  I am grateful for a lot of things this week, but the one that stands out the most is my flexible schedule.  For those of you who do not know, I work full time from the house and also have a part time job working outside the home.  Even with both jobs I have the flexibility to take time off when needed to spend time with my children or to travel.  This past weekend was a holiday weekend, and while I was scheduled to work, I used flex time to spend the whole weekend playing baseball with my children.  I might have a bruise on my knee (hazards of being pitcher) but I wouldn’t have traded that time with them for anything.
