Weekly Review

Welcome to my weekly post where I take a break from travel-related posts and I share about our life from last week and what I am really loving right now.

Where we went

This week we headed to Georgia to see the Georgia Guidestones and while we were there we stopped by Hartwell Lake to let the dogs walk.  We did drive to Georgia with our three dogs so it was a day trip and the first time our newest puppy had been in the car for any length of time, but no worries he handled it like a professional.  The Guidestones are definitely  a must see if you are in the area.  The best part was pulling into the drive after the long day in the car.  It had just rained and the sunset combined with the rain created the beautiful scene below.

What we are excited about

We hadn’t really decided anything about November then, this week I found plane tickets to Ireland for $99.  So of course we jumped on that deal and are heading to Ireland for awhile.  We haven’t decided if we want to spend the whole time in Ireland or jump over to France or Portugal for a few days too.  It’s hard to decide, but right now we are definitely excited about Ireland.

Where we are heading this week

After traveling so much these past two weeks, we have decided we are  heading to the beach for the Fourth of July weekend.  I need to work on my nonexistent tan, which will still be nonexistent because I use so much sunscreen, and both Drew and I need a few days away from the computers to refresh!
